Bentayga service due and the dealer quote made me choke on my karak, any decent indy options?
So my 2018 Bentayga just flashed the service reminder on the dash and I figured I'd call the dealership just to get a number before I started looking elsewhere, and the guy on the phone said five thousand dirhams for an oil change and a pollen filter and I honestly thought he was joking for a second but his silence on the other end confirmed he was dead serious and now I'm just sitting here wondering who actually pays these prices without flinching. I know the W12 takes a ridiculous amount of synthetic oil and the under trays are a pain to remove but come on, it's still just an oil change at the end of the day and I'm not about to hand over that kind of cash for something I could technically do myself if I had a lift and the patience to deal with all those plastic clips. I've been asking around and a few guys in my building with nice cars mentioned Royal Prince Auto Care, and I saw on their site they offer a Bentley luxury car oil change service (https://royalprinceautocare.com/service/bentley-oil-change/) with the correct spec oil and the proper reset procedure for the service indicator which is half the battle with these electronics honestly. I'm just trying to see if anyone here has actually taken their Bentayga or Continental to an independent shop in Dubai and had a good experience without any "oops we scratched the bumper" moments, because I'd rather not pay for the dealer's marble flooring and complimentary espresso every time the car needs fresh fluids.
