Bentley GT gearbox making a whine, dealer wants a kidney, saw a place in Sharjah online but I'm nervous

So my beloved 2012 Bentley Continental GT has started making this high pitched whining noise that changes pitch with the revs and it's most noticeable when the car is still warming up but it doesn't completely go away even after an hour of driving, the shifts are still smooth and there's no warning lights on the dash so I'm hoping it's just a fluid issue or maybe a tired bearing in the torque converter rather than a full transmission meltdown but the official dealer in Dubai basically told me they don't really "repair" these ZF units they just replace the whole gearbox assembly with a factory remanufactured one and the quote they emailed me made my vision go a little blurry for a few seconds. I've been asking around and a few people in the local car groups have mentioned that a lot of the independent luxury car dealers send their trade ins with gearbox issues up to Sharjah because there are workshops that actually rebuild these things properly without the insane markup, and I ended up finding this site https://gearboxrepairsharjah.ae/brands/bentley/ (https://gearboxrepairsharjah.ae/brands/bentley/) while scrolling through my phone at three in the morning and it looked professional enough but you know how it is with the internet anyone can put up a nice website with stock photos of gearboxes and promise the world. My main worry is that a Bentley transmission isn't exactly the same as a regular ZF 8 speed from a BMW or an Audi, there are specific calibrations and the torque capacity is different because of the W12 engine and I really don't want to be the guinea pig who ends up with a gearbox that shifts like a tractor because someone flashed the wrong software or used aftermarket solenoids that can't handle the torque. Has anyone in here actually entrusted their Flying B to a workshop in Sharjah for transmission work and if so was it a smooth experience or did you end up having to get it towed somewhere else to fix the fix?
