Step 3: Select an Optimal Farm Location
Where you farm matters as much as how you farm. Dense spawns and short respawn timers are key.
Crimson Isle: Perfect for free-to-play players looking to farm pet souls.
Resource Nodes: Mine or gather herbs near monster clusters to weave extra drops into your routine.
Avoid AoE-heavy zones: If another player tags a mob you've pulled, your drop rate can tank, cutting your efficiency.
Stay in safe spots where your macro can keep your character moving smoothly without unexpected interruptions.
Step 4: Maximize Extraction & Crafting Builds
Farming isn't just about killing mobs—it's about getting the most from drops.
10/10/5 Build: Set Proficient Handling 10, Delicate Touch 10, and Lady Luck 5 when gathering essence or ore. This reduces failed extractions and increases rare drop chances.
Mana Stone Crafting: Use your Kinah from monster farming to buy cheap bulk mana stones, craft them into superior versions, and flip them on the market for profit.
Balancing combat and gathering skills ensures you get both XP and materials efficiently.
Step 5: Implement Anti-Diminishing Returns Tactics
Aion 2 has built-in anti-bot protections. If you farm in one spot too long, loot and soul drops will start dropping off after about 40 minutes.
Rotate Camps: Move to a nearby map quadrant or a different mob tier every 30–45 minutes to refresh drop rates.
Stay Level-Relevant: Farm monsters near your character's level. Low-level mobs drastically reduce Kinah and material gains.
Rotating locations and keeping enemies appropriate to your level prevents wasted farming time and maximizes profits.
Final Tips
Always double-check your macro timing to avoid broken animations.
Keep an eye on your health and buffs; semi-auto doesn't mean invincible.
Experiment with different zones to see which mobs give the best return per hour.
