Quest Objectives

The "A Rising Tide" quest consists of five primary objectives:

In Buried City, locate the foreman's barricaded apartment south of Piazza Roma.

Access the foreman's digital logbook.

Travel to Dam Battlegrounds and reach the Power Generation Complex.

Find an entrance into the Controlled Access Zone.

Search the Controlled Access Zone for evidence related to the foreman's reconstruction project.

Each objective requires exploration and interaction with environmental objects, but none of the steps are overly complex once you know where to go.

Locating the Foreman's Apartment in the Buried City

Your first destination is Buried City, specifically the foreman's barricaded apartment south of Piazza Roma. The quest marker is somewhat vague, but the area contains two separate apartment blocks that can cause confusion.

To reach the correct location, head to the southern apartment block and climb the stairs or use the nearby zipline. Once at the top, cross the wooden walkway that connects the two buildings. This path leads directly into the northern apartment block, which houses the foreman's room.

Inside the apartment, you will find a large electronic device sitting on a table. Interacting with this device unlocks the foreman's digital logbook, advancing the quest to the next stage.

This portion of the mission emphasizes environmental exploration, a common theme in Arc Raiders. Take your time searching the area, as the digital logbook is essential for understanding the narrative behind Project Heartwood and the broader Shrouded Sky storyline.

Moving to Dam Battlegrounds

After accessing the digital logbook, your next objective is Dam Battlegrounds. Open your map and locate the Controlled Access Zone, a newly marked point of interest just south of the Power Generation Complex.

Upon arrival, you will notice a hole in the roof that serves as the entry point. Drop down into the area to begin solving the next part of the quest.

A small puzzle exists within the Controlled Access Zone, but it does not need to be completed for this mission. Instead, your primary goal is to locate a fuel cell that powers certain mechanisms within the facility.

Finding the Fuel Cell

The Controlled Access Zone contains several potential spawn points for the fuel cell. It can appear in different locations, so you may need to search thoroughly:

In the flooded lower level, among lootable Arc machines.

On the ground in a doorway that continues into a water-filled passage before reaching the zipline.

On a ledge beneath the zipline-jump off before reaching the top to access it.

Inside a locked room near the zipline's endpoint.

Since the fuel cell spawn is randomized, check each location until you find it. Once obtained, return to the compartment along the eastern wall and insert the fuel cell to unlock a previously sealed door.

Completing the Quest in the Whiteboard Room

After unlocking the door, you will see it open from the opposite side of the window. Enter the newly accessible room and look for a whiteboard displaying a map of Dam Battlegrounds' power infrastructure.

This whiteboard contains important information about how the area's energy grid supports Spaceport operations. To finish the quest, simply take a photo of ARC Raiders BluePrints buy the whiteboard using your in-game camera.
